The WhatsNext verdict
For Sci-fi fans who want to care about a crew and live with the consequences of their choices: Squad members carry personal stories and loyalty missions, and the final mission depends on how you treated them, so each decision feels personal. Tradeoff: Long conversations and cutscenes slow the action, and the shooting is solid rather than a headline draw.
