The WhatsNext verdict
For Players who want a space opera where their choices shape the crew, the story, and the galaxy: You lead a squad through a galaxy of species and politics, and the people you recruit and the calls you make stay with you. Tradeoff: Its combat and planetary driving feel dated next to modern shooters, so the story carries more of the appeal.
