The WhatsNext verdict
For Fans of kinetic visual novels and pulpy anime who want over-the-top supernatural action, dark slapstick comedy, and dynamic manga-style presentation.: It trades static text screens for frantic, heavily animated visual staging, pairing Daoist vampire folklore with outrageous comedy and explosive martial arts confrontations that move at breakneck speed. Tradeoff: A barebones engine with limited save features and an uncompromisingly crude, gory sense of humor mean it won't appeal to players seeking branching choices or subtle storytelling.
