For Darksiders fans and action RPG players who want brawling, boss fights, and loot in a top-down view, ideally with a friend.: Fights hinge on reading enemy attacks and learning each boss's patterns, and two players can share the fight online or on one couch. Tradeoff: The top-down camera and revisited dungeons can feel repetitive to players who wanted the series' open 3D exploration.

The game marks the first, full-scale Darksiders adventure played from the top-down perspective.
